Orientation of the project

The project provides a low-threshold offer for pupils on the topics of sustainability, data and digitalisation. A central aim of the project is to get marginalised participants interested in data literacy topics by focussing on sustainability. This connection is intended to arouse the interest and participation of this group in the relevant topics of the digital world and at the same time develop a deeper understanding of sustainable approaches.

Projektumsetzung

The project begins by finding potential science slammers who deal with topics relating to sustainability, data and digitalisation. A special focus is placed on supporting science slam newcomers by offering them a workshop to prepare for their presentation. The intensive preparation is followed by the realisation of the science slam, in which the participants can demonstrate their knowledge and presentation skills. Finally, the project is accompanied by an evaluation by the participants, the results of which are analysed in order to assess the impact and success of the event.
