Since August 2021, we have been working in the DDLitLab to integrate more digital and data skills into teaching at UHH: Be it through the development of the interdisciplinary Data Worlds programme, the promotion of innovative courses at all faculties or the establishment of the central platform Teaching-Navi, which bundles materials and offers for the design of digital teaching. We have already achieved a lot, but there is still a lot to do!
We are therefore all the more pleased that the project selection committee of the "Stiftung für Innovation in der Hochschullehre" (Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education) has selected the DDLitLab for project extension. In concrete terms, this means that we will be funded for a further 1.5 years from July 2024 until December 2025 with a volume of approx. 1.31 million euros!
A declared core objective of the follow-up application is to take up generative artificial intelligence as a central development in the field of data literacy and digital teaching. In addition, further work will also focus on structural anchoring.
We are very much looking forward to another two years of DDLitLab!
