Hamburg‘s (Post-)Colonial Heritage – Developing Student Perspektives within the Public History Blogs „Hamburgische Geschichten“
We intend to revive the currently inactive History Blog „Hamburgische Geschichten“ in order to execute a research project on the topic of „Hamburg’s (Post-)Colonial Heritage – Developing Student Perspektives within the Public History Blogs “Hamburgische Geschichten“. The aim of the project is the conception and implementation of a web presence of the blog „Hamburgische Geschichten“ where we intend to answer the question how an up-to-date teaching of critical colonial history in multi-media formats might look like from the perspective of students of history. In this context an article written by student shall be published and a podcast series shall be produced which approaches this topic with questions. The project shall last two semesters and represents a larger research project in the field of Public History.
