Co.ol.Lab (Collaborative Online Lab)
On 11 June from 13:00 to 14:00, three of our co-creative transfer projects in the field of data literacy education will present their experiences and answer questions afterwards. In addition to our transfer coordinator Eylem Tas (DDCo-Lab), Marten Borchers (Smart City Hamburg) and Anton Sefkow (IbLDT) will contribute their valuable insights and experiences from the transfer projects to the discussion and enrich the dialogue.
Co-creative teaching is an approach in which teachers and students design the learning process together. This collaborative approach not only promotes student engagement and motivation, but also enables students to engage more deeply with the subject matter. In co-creative teaching environments, students and lecturers work together to develop content, solve problems and generate knowledge, resulting in a richer and more dynamic learning experience.
Transfer-orientated teaching focuses on imparting knowledge and skills in such a way that they can be applied in different contexts and real-life situations. This teaching approach aims to prepare students to effectively apply what they have learnt outside the academic environment. It is about developing practical skills and facilitating the transition from theory to practice.
Our Data Literacy Education projects combine these two approaches. Students and lecturers work together on projects that not only teach theoretical knowledge about data literacy, but also develop practical applications and solutions to real-world challenges. These projects promote the development of data understanding and analysis techniques that are useful in a variety of disciplines and professions.
We cordially invite you to attend this presentation to learn more about the experiences and findings from our co-creative transfer projects and to participate in the discussion afterwards.
