In view of the ongoing change brought about by the digital transformation in society, science and business, accompanied by a continuous increase in the amount of data and increasing complexity in all areas, the DDLitLab has supported students from all disciplines in recent years.
A total of 16 student projects were funded in the period from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. The students designed and implemented independent research projects and at the same time acquired skills in the scientific handling of data. The completion of the 2nd and 3rd round of student project funding by the DDLitLab represents a significant milestone in strengthening subject-specific data literacy at Universität Hamburg.
As part of a final event, we gave the students themselves a chance to have their say. On April 17, the groups of the 2nd and 3rd funding rounds reported on their project progress and presented their results. The event details are listed at the bottom of this page.
