The year 2023 is drawing to a close - a good opportunity to look back at a small selection of things that have happened in the DDLitLab this year.
At the beginning of the year, for example, our Teaching Navi was launched - the central search portal for teaching materials and offers for teachers at UHH.
In spring, we celebrated the completion of the 14 teaching lab projects from the first funding round, only to welcome 21 new teaching projects in the second funding phase shortly afterwards. In addition, 16 student groups with their own data-driven questions were funded over the course of the year.
After the end of the second Data Worlds cycle in the summer semester of 2023, the third round of the Data Worlds lecture series started in October, for the first time with an exercise to introduce students to the statistical software ‘R’. There were also many other exciting events, such as formats for dealing with generative artificial intelligence in studies and teaching or our DDLitLab in Dialogue discussion series.
A few more figures can also be found in our data snow:
We wish all supporters, fellow campaigners, cooperation partners, fellows, students and colleagues happy holidays and look forward to continuing our collaboration in 2024!
