Invitation to the short film slam: Digitalisation and sustainability - ‘Mikropolis’ teaching lab project

Chatbots that want to be friends with you, data centres whose energy consumption has a major impact on the 1.5 degree target and the contradiction between sustainability and growth: these are all topics that keep scientists busy. Unfortunately, however, the public learns far too little about the results of this research.

Students and lecturers from the DDLitLab course Mikropolis want to change this and are organising a short film slam together with clubkindern at Unterm Strich on 19 January to immerse you in exciting topics relating to sustainability and digitalisation.

Afterwards, there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion with good music and drinks until the Uniscene continues with a long party night from 23:59 (www.uniscene.de).

Costs? Free, but the organisers are happy to receive any donation. The student group will decide together where the money should go.
