On 4 October 2022, the hybrid open space for the second round of calls for teaching labs took place. Interested parties had the opportunity to find out more about the DDLitLab project and the teaching labs and to ask specific questions about the current call for proposals both at home and on site.
Katharina Kleinen-von Königslöw, co-spokesperson of the project, introduced the DDLitLab, gave a brief overview of the funding criteria and talked about the current teaching projects. In this context, she also emphasised the DDLitLab's deliberately broad understanding of data literacy and encouraged teachers from all subjects to apply with their teaching project ideas.
The members of the Digital University Teaching Literacy (DUTy), Subject-Specific Data Literacy Education, Transfer and Computer Science sub-projects then presented their support options. All teams referred in particular to the flexible individual counselling offers during the application phase, in which applicants can refine their project idea in terms of technology, content or didactics. You can arrange an individual counselling appointment conveniently by email via ddlitlab.isa"AT"uni-hamburg.de.
In addition to the individual consultations, the DUTy team is offering a didactic concept workshop on 14 October from 11.00 to 13.00, in which interested parties can work out their teaching-learning scenario together.
The call for proposals for the second round of teaching labs is open until 4 November 2022. You can find more information on criteria and application formalities here.
